The laboratory is led by Professor SHEN Youqing, doctoral supervisor, “Qiushi” Distinguished Professor of Zhejiang University, Associate Editor-in-Chief of IECR, Journal of American Chemical Society, Deputy Director of Nanomedicine Professional Committee of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, Deputy Director of Bio-Nanotechnology Branch of China Medical Biotech Association (CMBA), and Fellow of American Institute of Biological and Medical Engineering elected in 2018. The team does research on functional polymer synthesis and the application of related achievements to nanomedicine. The team has published more than 300 SCI papers in top journals, e.g. Nat. Nanotech, Nat. Biomed. Eng., JACS, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. and Adv. Mater.

II. Responsibilities

To conduct research independently, publish papers in top journals at home and abroad, and apply for government-sponsored projects.

III. Application Requirements

1. Have a PhD degree awarded within the last three years, under 35 years old (under 40 years old for foreign residents);  

2. Priorities will be given to the applicants with Ph.D degrees in polymer chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmacy, medicine, molecular biology of tumors or related fields, and with a solid background in organic and polymer synthesis and biomedical research.

3. Good sense of teamwork and the ability to work independently;

4. Priorities will be given to the applicants in interdisciplinary research or with outstanding research results.
