HIC-ZJU is in close collaboration with five industry-leading enterprises—including Transfar Group, Sunny Optical Technology, and Mirror Me Robotics—to co-establish enterprise research institutes, each with a collaboration scale exceeding RMB 50 million. We are actively advancing a new collaborative model that emphasizes industry leadership, active engagement from universities and research institutions, and independent operation of research institutes, ensuring agile and impactful innovation.

To further accelerate technology transfer and industry integration, HIC-ZJU has co-founded 42 joint laboratories with top-tier enterprises. These partnerships support collaborative R&D, technology exchange, and commercialization efforts across key sectors including integrated circuits, synthetic biology, intelligent manufacturing, and fine chemicals.

Beyond strategic partnerships, HIC-ZJU provides customized technology solutions to a broad network of over 200 enterprises and organizations, with more than 400 technology contracts signed to date. Through these collaborations, we are committed to bridging cutting-edge research with industrial application, accelerating innovation, and delivering value across sectors.
