Entrepreneurship Salon held at HIC-ZJU Spotlights Global Talent, Innovation, and Investment Synergy
On March 18, the “Rising Tide: Seeking the Next Generation of Six Tigers” entrepreneurship salon was held at ZJU-Hangzhou Global Scientific and Technological Innovation Center (HIC-ZJU). Over 150 experts from academia, industry, and investment gathered to explore pathways for deeper integration of talent, technology, and capital, particularly supporting returnee entrepreneurs.
Notable speakers included SUN Weiwei, Vice Chairman of Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology; HU Shengfa, Chairman of the Chinese Returnees Entrepreneurship Consortium; DONG Shihong, Secretary of HIC-ZJU’s Party Working Committee; and ZHOU Kaibing, President of Zhejiang Venture Capital Association. They emphasized the importance of international talent and innovation ecosystems in nurturing future “Six Tigers” enterprises, referencing Hangzhou’s successful startup landscape.
Roundtable discussions led by ZHENG Feijun, CAI Hua, YE Juli, and GE Zongtao focused on global tech competition and fostering China’s new economic champions. The event concluded with a tour of the innovation center's exhibition hall, highlighting its role in shaping a world-class innovation community.
