Hangzhou, April 11 – In a significant move to bolster international scientific collaboration, Zhejiang University (ZJU) and the United Arab Emirates' Khalifa University (KU) have formalised a strategic partnership aimed at advancing research in next-generation communication technologies and fostering talent development.
The KU delegation also visited ZJU-Hangzhou Global Scientific and Technological Innovation Center (HIC-ZJU). They engaged with researchers to gain insights into HIC-ZJU's scientific capabilities and innovation ecosystem.
His Excellency and President, Prof. Ebrahim Al-Hajri commended HIC-ZJU's achievements in platform development, technological innovation, and research commercialisation. He expressed optimism that this partnership would pave the way for long-term cooperation in joint research, talent cultivation, and technology transfer. Both institutions aim to contribute to global sustainable development challenges through scientific and technological innovation under the Belt and Road Initiative framework.
