On May 7, a delegation from UNESCO and Gulf nations, including education officials from Qatar, the UAE, and Oman, visited ZJU-Hangzhou Global Scientific and Technological Innovation Center (HIC-ZJU) .
During the visit, the delegation toured Soil Pollution Control and Remediation Workshop, and Innovation Platform of Micro/Nano Technology for Biosensing. They gained an in-depth understanding of the HIC-ZJU's achievements in talent cultivation and scientific research, and engaged in detailed discussions on promoting international project cooperation and joint talent cultivation between Gulf countries and HIC-ZJU.
Mr. Anasse Bouhlal, Higher Education and TVET Programme Specialist at UNESCO Regional Office for the Gulf States and Yemen, praised HIC-ZJU’s industry-academia-research integration and international talent model, calling for deeper collaboration in education and innovation.
The visit aims to strengthen partnerships and accelerate tech transfer between Gulf countries and HIC-ZJU.
