徐嶺茂，理学博士，浙江大学杭州国际科创中心“科创百人计划”研究员。2022年博士毕业于兰州空间技术物理研究所，获甘肃省优秀博士论文，2019-2020年在新加坡国立大学电子工程学院联合培养博士。2013年硕士毕业后长期从事真空镀膜及材料生长技术研究。为解决超厚碳化硅晶锭生长过程中的温度梯度和应力控制等难题，创新性提出提拉式物理气相传输法（Pulling Physical Vapor Transport, PPVT），并成功在实验室生长出100mm厚超厚碳化硅单晶锭。
作为项目负责人先后主持并完成科工局稳定支持重点实验室重点基金项目1项、所自主研发项目2项。作为参与单位负责人及核心成员参与浙江省自然科学基金联合基金重大项目1项。共申请国家发明专利24项，授权6项，以第一作者或通讯作者发表SCI/EI论文10余篇。
